Railconsult was established in 2003 and is a Norwegian consultancy company. Railconsult specializes in the planning, establishment, approval, operation and monitoring of rail-based transport. We are working on projects in transport and communications, with emphasis on rail, metro and tram / ​​light rail.

Railconsult has an independent and neutral profile in relation to suppliers, carriers and governments. Railconsult has control over its own development, and have no suppliers or transporters amongst the owners.

Railconsult stands for sustainable solutions in all phases from concept to operation. We are characterized by satisfied customers, a strong academic environment, practical approach, great innovative abilities and high integrity. We place great emphasis on keeping us updated on what's happening in the industry and to implement our operating and marketing experience in the projects so that it is cost effective and customer-oriented solutions that are offered. Furthermore, we emphasize that our customers' own expertise is utilized in the work, in order to achieve ownership of that being developed through involvement from start to finished product.

Since its foundation in 2003, Railconsult has experienced a steady growth, both in number of employees, number of customers and revenue. To ensure continued growth and customer satisfaction, Railconsult continuously work to improve and assure the quality of the work, and the spring of 2011 we were ISO certified.
